Directions from Perth Airport to Comfort Hotel Perth
Exit Airport via Brearley Ave and turn left into Great Eastern Highway for 6.4 Kms. Exit Great Eastern Hwy at Shepperton Rd exit. Turn right onto Shepperton Rd and head towards Perth City. Shepperton Rd turns in Adelaide Tce, follow until Plain St and turn right at lights, then a final left turn at lights into Hay St and the Comfort Hotel will be on the right hand side 500 metres from last set of lights. Very clear signage.

Directions to Baseball Park Thornlie, from Comfort Hotel Perth
The Comfort Hotel is on Hay St.
When you are at the front of the Hotel go left towards the Causeway (2 Bridges across the Swan river).
Continue on the Causeway and the road turns into Shepperton Rd.
Continue on Shepperton Rd and don’t get off.
Shepperton Rd then turns into Albany Hwy at a set of lights.
Continue on Albany Hwy until you reach Nicholson Rd.
Turn right into Nicholson Rd and follow until you reach Wilfred Rd in Thornlie.
Turn left into Wilfred Rd then right into Baseball Park car park.

NOTE:
When on Nicholson Rd and you pass over the top of Roe Hwy on your way to Wilfred Rd and you will very clearly see the playing fields and Baseball Park on the left hand side.
Directions to Baseball Park Thornlie from Airport
Exit Airport via Brearley Ave and turn left into Great Eastern Highway.
Then immediately turn left onto Tonkin Hwy.
Continue on Tonkin Hwy until the Roe Hwy exit and turn right onto Roe Hwy.
Continue on Roe Hwy until you reach Nicholson Rd exit and turn left onto Nicholson Rd.
Then 1st lights left at Wilfred Rd and right into the car park of Baseball Park.

NOTE:
Once you exit Roe Hwy onto Nicholson Rd you will see playing fields and Baseball Park very clearly on left hand side.
Baseball Park is on the Cnr of Wilfred and Nicholson Rd’s, Thornlie

Room Allocation
Each state will be allocated the following room configurations
1 x Quad = 4
1 x Triple = 3
8 x Twins = 16
1 x Single = 1
Total 24

Should you decide to bring an additional staff member they can possibly be booked into the single room to convert it to a twin room. We are waiting to hear back from the hotel to confirm this. Otherwise the cost of an additional single room (which includes breakfast) will be $86.00 a day

Location of Rooms

It is not possible to separate teams to their own floors however we are able to separate teams into sections of the hotel. For example on the 2nd Floor SA would have the north wing and Vic the South/East wing. All floors allocated for the players are non smoking.

Laundry

The hotel has 3 commercial washers and dyers available for use and there are 2 public Laundry facilities which are located across from the hotel and within walking distance.

Meals

The Comfort hotel will be offering a special buffet dinner in the evening and an additional limited choice buffet dinner for the teams involved in the 7.00pm game. Other options include dining from the room service menu or visiting other local restaurants which are all within walking distance as the hotel in located in the city. There is a supermarket across the road from the hotel for incidentals.

Parking
7 uncovered parking bays for the 12 seater vans available on the ground level of the hotel.
5 undercover parking bays for the 5 one-tone vans available in underground car park
(These are suitable for 1 ton vans only)
3 Parking bays on the side of road located at the rear of hotel for the other 3 x 12 seater vans.

Pool Recovery Sessions

The Comfort Hotel does not have a pool for recovery sessions so arrangements have been made to access a pool in a nearby college approx 5 minutes walk. This pool will only be available from 9.00am until 12.00 noon each day and can only be accessed using an electronic key which will be available from reception.

Flights
The following flight has been booked through ABF travel provider Moves Travel to Perth for NSW on

 Friday 19th January 2007

Return flights have been booked for Sunday 28th January however departure dates will be dictated by where each team finishes in the competition. Every attempt will be made to fly teams out as soon as possible after elimination however limited flights from Perth may result in teams staying in Perth for an additional evening.
